Jefferson Square is a park containing an Athletic Field located at 7th St & Martin Luther King. (Strangely the location imported from the City has it at 7th Avenue and Grove. Grove is now MLK and the park is at 7th Street, not 7th Avenue).
There's a brand new dog play area in this park. Because of the changes in the dogs-in-parks law in April, 2014, dogs are now allowed on-leash in the rest of the park.
On December 20, 1983, Jefferson Square was designated an Oakland Landmark #LM83 -398.
