Kayvan Sabeghi is an Iraq War Army Ranger veteran who was severely beaten by Oakland police officer Frank Uu during an Occupy Oakland protest on the night of November 3, 2011.
On Tuesday, December 11, 2013, over two years after the incident, the Oakland City Council finally agreed to settle Sabeghi's claim for $645,000, adding to the total costs of OO.
