Oakland School for the Arts (also known as OSA) is a unique school that offers ten different disciplines of art studies. OSA is located inside a building that wraps around the Fox Theatre on 18th Street near Telegraph Avenue, and aims at providing students with an intense art education as well as provide quality academics. OSA wants to create critical thinkers, effective communicators, productive citizens and self discipline students who will thrive in the arts and academics they choose. OSA is administered under a charter granted by OUSD.
