The Campaign for Sensible Transportation works on Santa Cruz transportation policies and issues. It has four main goals. They want to convince decision makers that there is value in having a variety of transportation methods. They want to educate the community on the ineffectiveness of highway widening. They also want to educate the community on the costs of highway widening. And they hope to promote alternatives to the widening of Highway 1.
