History
Davenport beach was always a difficult location. Davenport Landing Beach was used for commerce.
Beach
On the ocean-side of Highway 1 at the town of Davenport is a parking area. There are a few trails from the parking area that lead across the railroad track, along the cliff and to the beach. There is no easy access. No stairs. All trails require some climbing. There are no facilities at the beach. Not even a bench.
The San Vicente Creek meets the sea at Davenport Beach.
Transportation
The bus service goes to the town of Davenport.
