The Santa Cruz Yacht Club organizes activities such as sailboat racing, cruising, fishing, social events, and a junior sailing program, and sponsors events such as the Windjammers Regatta, the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Benefit Regatta, one design races, SCORE (Santa Cruz Ocean Racing Extravaganza), the West Marine Fun Regatta, and the Lighted Boat Parade.
