Seacliff is considered as a Census Designated Place (CDP) by the US Census Bureau. It is eight-tenths of a square mile and has 1,536 households. The residents generally use Aptos as an address and share the same post office and ZIP code as Aptos. The ZIP code is 95003.
The area covers Borregas Gulch to Aptos Creek. From the seaward side of Highway 1 to the cliffs above Monterey Bay.

Seacliff got the name from Seacliff Park, a development from the 1920's.
