According to an advertisement in the phone directory, the business started in 1926. The company was the first finance institution to occupy the address that were later to be used by Allstate Savings & Loan, Sears Savings, American Savings, Washington Mutual and later Chase. If Security Savings sold the branches or was absorbed by Allstate Savings & Loan isn't known.
