Garden Highway runs between 2nd Street, Yuba City in Sutter County and Arden Way near Natomas in Sacramento County. It overlaps with Highway 99 between Tudor and Nicolaus. It also passes through Oswald, Abbott, Wilson, and Marcuse.

From north to south in Sutter County, significant places on Garden Highway include Salsa Taquería, Manzanillo Mexican Grill, Fairground Market, Tacos el Jaliscience, El Centro, Holly Oak Grocery and Gas, Evergreen Landscape Maintenance Inc., Blackburn-Talley Sports Complex, Boyd's Pump, Beer Can Beach, the Verona Post Office, Verona Village Resort, Verona Village Store, and Pinky's Bar and Grill.
