Local Organizations, community minded or social, focused on faith or on the spiritual, are fairly popular in our area. We don't have many but we do support the ones we have. This page hopes to bring you all things related to both 95033 and our wonderful organizations.

- Summit CERT The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community.
- Redwood Estates Services Association

- Save Our Skies Santa Cruz County http://www.sossantacruz.org/ is a grass roots organization of committed, well-organized community members concerned about the new SERFR SFO arrival path which has brought serious and consistent noise levels over the residents of Santa Cruz County. Areas which were previously pristine and dominated by natural sounds are now drowned out by the consistent noise of jet planes throughout the day.

- The Mountain Area 55 Plus Program, sponsored by LPCF, meets at the Loma Prieta Community Center, Loma Prieta/C.T. The Program provides an opportunity to meet with neighbors in a friendly and welcoming environment — to socialize, play cards or other table games, listen to informative talks, exchange a book in the rotating library, take part in excursions to local points of interest and/or just make the program a short stop for a friendly chat and a cup of coffee or tea.
