Karen Sidney (d. 2012) was an Ann Arbor attorney and CPA. She was an expert in forensic accounting, which is the art of finding out where the money is going when people can't or won't tell you.

Karen Sidney, a CPA and critic of the city administration who is a regular participant in public hearings and community meetings. Her political involvement began with the Pall Life Sciences contamination on the city's west side and expended to city finance. She frequently conducts her own analysis of city finances.
