Mrs. Edna Moquin Duprey, died at her home, 119 Main St., Saranac Lake, Monday at noon. Mrs. Duprey, a resident of Ray Brook for many years, was a registered nurse retired from Ray Brook Hospital.

The daughter of Alfred and Justine Brault Moquin, Mrs. Duprey was born September 10, 1902 in Malone, N. Y. Her husband was the late Edmund Duprey of Saranac Lake.

Mrs. Duprey was a member of the Civil Service Employees Association of the Ray Brook State Hospital.

Friends may call at the Keough Memorial Chapels Tuesday from 7 to 9 p. m. and Wednesday, 2 to 4 p. m. and : 7 to 9 p.m. A rosary will be said with the CSEA chapter 8 o'clock Wednesday evening at the chapels.

A Mass of Resurrection will be offered for Mrs. Duprey 10 a. m. Thursday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Sararnac Lake. Burial wall be in St. Marys Cemetery, Ft. Covington.

Mrs. Duprey is survived by a son, Edmund, of Albany; a daughter, Mrs. Diana Bezner of Syracuse; one brother, Albert M, Moquin of Massena, three sisters, Mrs. Helena Van Cour, Saranac Lake, Mrs. Lena J. Colton, Malone, and Sister Mary Purification Moquin, Plattsburgh; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


father: ALFRED JOSEPH MOQUIN - was born on September 23 1868, in St Bruno de Montarville, Chambly, QC, Canada.

mother: JUSTINE MARIE MOQUIN (born BRAULT) was born on November 21 1873, in St Etienne, Levis, QC, Canada.

EDNA had 8 siblings: RAOUL JOSEPH MOQUIN, FREDONIA JOSEPHINE MOQUIN and 6 other siblings.

EDNA married Edmund Duprey in 1926, at age 23.

EDNA passed away in the summer of 1970, at age 67 in Saranac Lake, New York.
