AC Transit Line 26 goes up and down Adeline St between E'ville and West Oakland BART and from West Oakland BART it goes west on 14th Street through downtown, and around the Lake up Lakeshore (past Grand Ave (convenient for the Grand Lake Farmer's Market)) to Trestle Glen (and then it goes in the reverse direction, of course).
It runs from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.

The bus drivers on line 26 are extremely kind and helpful. I left my bike on a 26 once and after waiting for half an hour for the bus to circle back around to the stop, the driver let me get my bike back off the front of the bus with only a "how could you forget it!". - mk30
