Pizzaiolo is an upscale restaurant serving wood-fired pizza and California-inflected Italian cuisine in the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, California. It is located in the historic Cattaneo Block, a brick building constructed in 1871.

Owner Charlie Hallowell opened the restaurant in June 2005 after working at the internationally acclaimed restaurant Chez Panisse in Berkeley. Hallowell also owns the restaurants Boot and Shoe Service and Penrose, both located on Grand Avenue.  Pizzaiolo's chef is Julya Shin.

Espresso and pastry service is offered from 8 until noon, Monday through Saturday - though the lines are often prohibitive.

Piazziolo was the recipient of the East Bay Express Best Cronut Substitute Award in 2014 and the Best Service at a Restaurant Award.

Pizzaiolo received the Best Toast award in the 2013 Best of the East Bay Express Awards.
