Landmarks

Brookwood Drive is best knows as the ONLY connection from Morrissey Boulevard to Soquel Drive that is north of Highway 1.  The connection is only west to east because of the one-way section. For locals this is a popular escape when traffic on Highway 1 and Soquel Avenue become impacted. Bookwood Drive can become flooded as it crosses Arana Gulch Creek during heavey rains. Most local know to keep off of this part of Brookwood during winter. Even when no car is behind, a turn-around is impossible in the one-way/one lane section.
