Mission Statement
The Santa Cruz Fruit Tree Project is a grassroots organization that seeks to make use of the bounty. Our volunteer network organizes community fruit harvests as well as processing events  like pressing cider, curing olives, and making jam and wine.  In the wintertime, we work to build knowledge about tree propagation and maintenance, and to get more trees planted in the community.  Our goal is to explore our community and create connections – cultivating relationships within neighborhoods as we enjoy the abundance around us and help move Santa Cruz towards a sustainable future.
