Zameen Cuisine has taken ancient Eastern Mediterranean dishes and given them a modern twist – combining gourmet meats, grains, salads and cheeses with the distinctive flavors of the region - sumac, pomegranate and saffron.
The restaurant, which first open in Aptos in 2007, is referred to variously, from Zameen Mediterranean Cuisine, to Zameen Cuisine, to simply Zameen. In February 2017, Zameen At The Point opened their doors up. It's a bit smaller than their Aptos location, and the menu items have some variations.
Zameen At The Point is one many trendy restaurants to open up on the south end of 41st Avenue next to Pleasure Point. For example, Zameen At The Point is across the street from popular destinations such as Chill Out Cafe, The Penny Ice Creamery, Verve Coffee, and East Side Eatery. It is also near the Cliff Cafe, a longtime local's favorite break joint.
