The Crosstown Bike Connector is one of Woodland's officially designated bicycling routes that has continuous bike lanes throughout its length. This 3.4-mile east-west bicycling route runs between West Southwood Drive at Ashley Avenue (the southwest corner of John Ferns Park) and East Gum Avenue at Walker Street (the south edge of Dick Klenhard Ballfield Complex). The sections of the route are as follows:

  1. West Southwood Drive at Ashley Avenue (the southwest corner of John Ferns Park) is a point of intersection with the 7.5-mile West Bike Loop.
  2. Head east from Ashley Avenue on West Southwood Drive; continue onto Southwood Drive until McKinley Avenue.
  3. Cross McKinley Avenue and head one block north on it.
  4. Head east on Bartlett Avenue until 1st Street. The one block on 1st Street overlaps with the West Bike Loop.
  5. Cross 1st Street and head one block south on it.
  6. Head east on Marshall Avenue until 4th Street, at the Marshall-Everman Alley entrance to Everman Park.
  7. Cross 4th Street and head one block north on it.
  8. Head east on Gum Avenue; continue onto East Gum Avenue until reaching Walker Street. Along the way, the intersection of East Gum Avenue and Matmor Road is a point of intersection with the Community Center Bike Leg.
  9. East Gum Avenue at Walker Street (the south edge of Dick Klenhard Ballfield Complex) is a point of intersection with the 4.3-mile East Bike Loop.
