Elliot Street and West Elliot Street together run east-west in two fragments through central and western Woodland. Elliot Street becomes West Elliot Street when it passes west of West Street.

West Elliot Street

West Elliot Street runs between California Street and West Street. It is situated south of West Clover Street and north of West Court Street. Its west end passes by Walmart Neighborhood Market. It is otherwise lined on both sides by apartment complexes, including Ridgewood Apartments and Elliot Crossing.

Elliot Street

The western segment of Elliot Street runs between West Street and College Street. It is situated south of Clover Street and north of North Street. From west to east, it intersects Grand Avenue (which heads south only from Elliot Street), Cleveland Street (south only), Alderson Alley, Walnut Street, Locust Street (north only), Elm Street (south), and Elm Street (north). It runs past Walnut Street School.

The western segment of Elliot Street has been planted with street trees by the city. The street trees include the invasive weed species Glossy Privet (Ligustrum lucidum). However, they also include Modesto Ash/Arizona Ash (Fraxinus velutina), which is native to California though not native to Woodland. Other non-native plants on this segment of Elliot Street include Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum), Red Maple (Acer rubrum), Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo), Deodar Cedar (Cedrus deodara), Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis), Chinese Fringe Tree (Chionanthus retusus), Chitalpa Tree (Chitalpa tashkentensis), Narrowleaf Ash (Fraxinus angustifolia ssp. oxycarpa 'Raywood'), Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica), Chinese Pistache (Pistacia chinensis), London Plane (Platanus × hispanica), Northern Red Oak (Quercus rubra), Cork Oak (Quercus suber), American Elm (Ulmus americana), and Saw-leaf Zelkova (Zelkova serrata 'Wireless').

The eastern segment of Elliot Street runs between 5th Street and Railroad Street. It runs past Taquería la Michoacana at its east end.
