Security Bank & Trust was based out of the Southgate Tower in Southgate. It was acquired by Kalamazoo-based First of America Bank on March 20, 1993. In turn, it was acquired by National City Bank on October 31, 1998, and as of November 6, 2009, is now PNC Bank.
