Wachovia was a bank in downtown across the street from the Phoenix Building. They agreed to be bought by Wells Fargo in late 2008. All Wachovia accounts in California were converted to Wells Fargo accounts in 2010.
Wachovia customers could get cash from Wells Fargo ATMs due to the merger. Wells Fargo customers could also use Wachovia ATMs to get cash.

2009-05-12 23:59:54 I went in here once to look into getting a business account and they where very understaffed so they requested I left my information for the business accounts manager to call me back. They never did so... I ended up banking at Umpqua which really does live up to its name as "the worlds best bank". —technkl
