During the winter, when the lake is frozen, you might see some trees sitting on the frozen lake this is a warning because there is an active spring in that area. In the frozen winter months, community members mark the thin ice with a ring of coniferous trees. Even though this is a curious spectacle, for your own safety do not investigate!
