Moore Creek Preserve is previously known as the Bombay Property, and is a hilly park featuring open meadows and Redwood canyons. The park borders the Coast Dairies and has views of the Monterey Bay, Wilder Ranch State Park, UCSC, Wilder Beach, Younger Lagoon/Long Marine Lab, Natural Bridges State Beach, and the industrial section of the Westside. The management of Moore Creek Preserve is a cooperative effort of the City of Santa Cruz and the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County. The Highway 1 entrance to the park is located just past Western Drive and across the highway from Shaffer Road when traveling north. There is no parking at the Meder Street entrance. There is no wheelchair access at the Highway 1 entrance. Dogs and bicycles are prohibited.
