| Mission Statement |
| The seven-member Arts Commission was established to advise the City |
| Council on programs which enhance the aesthetic and cultural quality of life |
| in the city. The commissioners, appointed by the City Council, are volunteers |
| from the community from diverse backgrounds, sharing a strong commitment to |
| the arts. |

Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 6pm in the City Council chambers, 809 Center Street, Santa Cruz, CA.
The current members of the City Arts commission are Abra Allan, Lee Duffus, Patrick Haywood, Lorri Kershner, Peter McGettigan, Trink Praxel, and Nina Simon. Crystal Birns is the City Arts Program Manager.
