Thomas Jefferson Scribner, 1899—1982.
Summary Tom Scribner was known in Santa Cruz as a player of the musical saw. He kept his saws and bows in a trombone case. He would play downtown. He was a tree cutter in his early years and active with the IWW (Industrial Workers of the World).
Achievements
- A statue of him is downtown on Pacific Avenue
- He is featured in the People's Bank Mural
