Beach Street runs West-East from West Cliff Drive to 3rd Street, where it runs to the San Lorenzo River. It's a one-way street starting from Pacific Avenue to 3rd Street. Most notable landmark is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk... that, and the tourists.

Bike-Friendliness
Bikes are common on this street, but as in so many parts of Santa Cruz they're outnumbered by inattentive tourists in giant SUVs. Fortunately, traffic goes fairly slowly along this road. Still, watch out!
