Market Street in the City of Santa Cruz runs between Water Street and Goss Avenue, where it then turns into Branciforte Drive, which continues up to the area of Happy Valley.
It is not allowed to turn left from Market Street onto Water Street except for buses. There is a posted sign warning about this.
