Ernest Doty (born c.1979) is an awesome Oakland muralist! One of his murals is on the side of the Pretty Lady Cafe in West Oakland.

You can often recognize his murals by the (creepy) multiple sets of eyes. He describes it as "surreal pop art" that's politically or environmentally motivated.

Doty is originally from New Mexico. He was one of the people who ran to help Scott Olsen after Olsen was severely injured during Occupy Oakland. Both Doty's stepbrother and cousin were shot and killed by police in New Mexico.
