A Street is a north-south street that serves as part of UC Davis' eastern boundary. From its southern origin at 1st Street it runs one-way (north) towards Russell Blvd. It becomes a two-way street north of Russell and terminates after 8th Street when it becomes confused, veers to the east, and bumps back into B Street.
On the eastern edge of campus, A Street sports the following locations:

A Street was formerly known as Beech Street.
A Street Derby
The A Street Derby was a game played between Chelsea and Manchester United on the 27th day of July, 2023. Manchester United ended up victorious 5-4. The game was called the A Street Derby because the players met at A Street, but it was played at the renovated Playfields Park. While there has been eager anticipation of a Derby Pt 2, it has never come. However, this might change in the summer of 2024.
