Looking west in Wyandotte on a bright fall dayEureka Road, named after the Eureka Iron Company, which used this road to ship supplies to it's Wyandotte plant, is the main east-west thoroughfare through central Downriver. It begins as a residential side street at the Detroit River in Wyandotte and proceeds west through Southgate and Taylor before ending as a rural two-lane road at Huron River Drive in Romulus.
